Spring Loaded Casters are standard on 1-4 step rolling safety ladders.

When not in use, the spring loaded casters lift the ladder off of the ground and allows the ladder to move freely.

When the ladder has been moved to the proper spot, the weight of the operator retracts the spring loaded casters and the ladder rests on 4 rubber coated legs.
